Welcome to Sugar Palooza! This game features 10 questions about the sugar industry in Jamaica. Questions will be based on the topics covered in the virtual exhibit Sugar: The Bittersweet Taste of Past & Present. Earn points as you test your knowledge of the Jamaican sugar industry. - Click the ‘START GAME’ button to start the quiz.
- Read the question asked in the purple box and press one of the blue boxes for the correct answer.
- If the box turns to red, the selection is wrong and an ‘ANSWER‘ button will appear to the top right corner of the game window. Click on the ‘ANSWER‘ button to reveal the right selection in green. A ‘NEXT‘ button will appear after at the top right of the game window where you can click to move to the next question.
- If the box turns to green, the selection is correct and a ‘NEXT‘ button will appear at the top right corner of the game window where you can click to move to the next question.
- In the top left corner there are two yellow buttons that you can click to get assistance in answering the questions. The ‘50:50‘ button will eliminate two of four questions to choose from and the ‘Audience‘ button will bring up a chart to show the audience choice of answer.
- Click on the audio icon in the right bottom corner to mute and unmute the background music.
