The Education Department is responsible for the development and implementation of all educational programmes that accompany every exhibition. This unit is also responsible for outreach programmes in schools, communities and Organizations Island wide. All of the programmes are aimed at heightening public awareness of Jamaica’s rich history and culture while also addressing the ways in which history informs our contemporary social life.
The Education department organizes the following programmes:
