On August 14, 2012 Jonathan Greenland was officially declared the Director of Museums and Ethnography. Dr. Jonathan Greenland was born in Wales and holds a PhD in art history. He made phenomenal strides at the Brooklyn Museums of Art where he challenged the view Aufblasbares Zelt that museums were solely the enclaves of the elite.  In 2004 he became the Executive Director of the National Gallery and today we welcome him to the helm of the Museums of History and Ethnography.
