The Museum of History and Ethnography hosts public discussions, public lectures related to current exhibitions. In particular there is a CSEC lectures series to support the Jamaican student population. Both urban and rural schools may be invited to particpate; please feel free to enquire and or be place on our mailing list.
The National Library of Jamaica is contributing materials to the Digital Library of the Caribbean project from their Jamaica Unshackled collection. This collection brings together resources related to the 1831 Sam Sharpe Rebellion, the 1865 Morant Bay Rebellion, and the 1938 Labour Riots. —-The Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC) is a cooperative digital library for resources from and about the Caribbean and circum-Caribbean. dLOC provides access to digitized versions of Caribbean cultural, historical and research materials currently held in archives, libraries, and private collections.
